Two months until summer break. Parents are splitting into two camps: those who are booking spots, and those who are "still thinking about it." By May, the good options are usually gone.
At Miami Family Club, we run our own summer programs every year and work with vetted partners. Here's what we recommend for summer 2026.
Miami Family Club Camps

Let's Go Camp — day camp for kids 7-14
Every day is a new location. Not "entertainment program in one place," but actual field trips: zoos, aquarium, amusement parks, activity centers across South Florida.
The format: kids spend the day moving, exploring new places, with counselors who know how to manage a group while giving freedom to discover.
Registration: letsgocamps.com
Booking: $100 deposit
Important: limited spots — the camp works with a fixed number of kids to ensure everyone is properly supervised.

Bloom Camp — day camp for kids 4-8 (Hollywood)
New cozy location with its own backyard. Not "babysitting with cartoons," but a structured day: park walks, creative activities, outdoor play, engaging daily program.
Attentive counselors. Small group size. Kids come home happy, not overstimulated.
Registration: mybloomclub.com/summer
Booking: $100 deposit
Important: only 24 spots total, half already booked.
20% OFF for Members

Overnight Summer Camp — August 3-9, lakeside
This is the summer finale. The main event for parents who want to give their child an experience of independence, friendship, and adventure in a safe environment.
A week in nature, away from screens and daily routine. Campfires, activities, evening gatherings, friendships that last through the next school year.

Sunshine State Academy — Vetted MFC Partner
If your child needs a different format — not daily trips and activities, but an in-depth program with educational focus — we recommend our partners.
Sunshine State Academy (Hollywood, FL) is a private school we work with and know well. They open three specialized summer programs:
"Around the World" Adventure Camp (12 months - 7 years)
Journey through countries and cultures. Not in theory — through games, projects, and 8 field trips. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks included.
VEX Robotics Camp (9-12 years)
Programming and robotics. Kids build real robots, learn coding, participate in competitions. Ends with tournament and parent showcase.
Design & Sewing Camp (8-12 years)
Fashion design and sewing. From concept to finished outfit. Final fashion show where kids present their creations.
Location: 1308 S Federal Hwy, Hollywood, FL
Contact: 954-736-9000
Format: full day, meals included
This is a different story — not "new place every day," but deep dive into one topic over several weeks. For kids who like to dig deeper.
What's Next?
Summer will arrive faster than you think. By May, most spots will be booked — that's normal for South Florida, where everyone plans ahead.
